Personal Training

Sophia is knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Her clients report back that they feel invigorated and inspired to achieve their goals after their fitness sessions.

Sophia has always had a keen interest in health and fitness from an early age. She practised swimming and netball, winning colours and cups for her school. In the last 15 years, Sophia has focused her attention on distance running specialising in ultra marathons culminating in her completing the Marathon des Sables in Morocco (6 marathons in 6 days) in 2005.  During this time she also completed a number of nutrition diplomas along with her Personal Trainer Diploma.  Sophia works with a range of equipment to help her clients gain the fitness results they aspire to.  Training methods are varied and include;

  • stretching
  • circuit training
  • powerwalking
  • resistance training
  • interval training.

Some of the equipment used includes:

  • resistance bands and pilates balls
  • medicine balls
  • bosu ball
  • foam rollers
  • magic circles to name but a few.

Sophia works with a variety of age groups and abilities. She integrates her training knowledge to the training needs of the individual client to enhance their long-term health and fitness goals aiming to empower clients to ensure that they get a unique individual, positive and safe exercise experience. Sophia will educate and enhance your fitness level in each of your sessions.
